Carla Suarez

Carla Suarez is an Intake Specialist at Phillips & Associates, where she serves as the first point of contact for many clients seeking representation. She guides potential clients through the intake process with professionalism and compassion, ensuring that their concerns are clearly understood and directed to the appropriate legal team. Fluent in Spanish, Carla is able to communicate effectively with a broad range of clients, making the intake experience more accessible and inclusive.

Carla earned her Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from St. John’s University, where she was recognized on the Dean’s List and was an active member of multiple honor societies, including Phi Eta Sigma, Lambda Epsilon Chi, and Gamma Sigma Alpha. She also served as Vice President of Recruitment and DEIB Coordinator for Delta Phi Epsilon, demonstrating her leadership and commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.

Her previous experience includes working as a Clinical Office Assistant and Translator at St. John’s University School of Law, where she assisted attorneys and legal interns with case management, client communication, and translation services. Carla also worked in administrative roles supporting office operations, scheduling, and client interactions. She holds a Westlaw Paralegal Certification and brings strong skills in legal research, organization, and client service to her role.
