Jessica C. Rosales is an Associate Attorney at Phillips & Associates, PLLC, where she represents employees in matters involving sexual harassment, workplace discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination. Her practice focuses on protecting the rights of workers who have been mistreated by employers across New York City and the surrounding areas.
Before joining Phillips & Associates, Ms. Rosales served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Special Victims Bureau of the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office, where she investigated and prosecuted cases involving sexual violence and crimes against children. Ms. Rosales began as a Misdemeanor Assistant District Attorney and advanced to the Grand Jury and Felony levels handling cases from investigation to presentation for indictment, and to motions practice, hearings/trial, or other appropriate dispositions. Her background in handling sensitive and high-stakes matters allows her to approach each employment case with the skill, empathy, and determination necessary to achieve justice for her clients.
Ms. Rosales attended the American University Washington College of Law, where she received the Dean’s Merit Scholarship and graduated cum laude. She served as a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and American University Journal of Gender, Social Policy, and the Law. During law school, Ms. Rosales completed legal internships for the U.S. Justice Department, a D.C. Superior Court judge, and the D.C. Attorney General's Office. She also practiced as a student attorney for the Gender Justice Clinic representing clients in family law and immigration cases.
Before law school, Ms. Rosales began her early legal career as a paralegal at a personal injury law firm and at a corporate law firm focused on life science and technology companies. Ms. Rosales earned her Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Business from Brandeis University, where she also minored in Legal Studies, captained for the Brandeis Mock Trial Association, and tutored English as a Second Language students.
She is admitted to practice in New York.
